Making Sense of Solar Energy

Solar energy is great news both for you and for the planet

With greater emphasis being placed on the need to increase energy efficiencies, householders are being encouraged to look at ways that they can adjust their lifestyles. The production of your own solar electricity is one such way that you can make a difference.

Production of your own electricity can also help to safeguard the price that you pay for your electricity. You will reduce the amount of electricity that you will use from the National Grid meaning that you will be less affected by future price rises, at the same time as receiving payments from the energy suppliers for all the electricity that you produce.

In addition to the income you receive from the Feed-in Tariff, you will also get Fixed Export Payments for exporting any unused energy. This is paid at a rate set by your energy supplier (typically around 3p/kWh), and it is generally estimated that you will export 50% of the electricity generated.

How can we help?

We understand that switching to solar energy can seem daunting, so we've made it our mission to simplify the process and help people throughout the UK to make that positive change.

At Navitas, we live and breathe this technology, and have developed our expertise over a number of years. We want to share this knowledge and experience with you, to help you make an informed decision about investing in solar energy.

We specialise in the installation of domestic and commercial solar electricity systems using PV (photovoltaic) panels. With our headquarters in South Yorkshire, we have installed PV systems across the UK, North, South, East and West.

By making sense of solar power for your home, Navitas can help you join the revolution in renewable energy.
